Ok, ok, this is a blog about Toronto, but eventually when I travel to other places I love to share with you guys here!
Lately I found out this great coffee place, De Mello Palheta, at Eglinton area, and I love it!!! The coffee is perfect, probably the best one I ever had here in Toronto and the pastries are just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! My friend tried the cheesecake and I tried this bar, Hello Dolly, which I can’t define very well, but is delicious! They have alternative milk for coffee as well, like soy and almond milk. I always choose the almond when I have this option.
It was really hard to decide which sweet we should order with so many (great) options, but I highly recommend to try Crème brûlée cheesecake below or the Hello Dolly!
But maybe the next time I’ll go for the Salted Caramel Brownie or this Lemon Square! Hummmm!
De Mello Palheta is nice and the decor is super cool. If you are around Eglinton area, check it out this place for a great coffee and pastries!
The first time I was there last May, I tried the expresso! So good! If you like expressos like I do, you are going to love it!
De Mello Palheta also sells the new cool coffee machines, coffee beans and pure honey. The honey is made in Ontario and it’s great. My friend couldn’t resist and bought one. =)
